But I would go further. and suggest that I do not think anyone can correctly contend that the wetback situationof course. I refer to the illegal entrants. not to those who have entered under the bracero lawwould be improved to any extent if this bill did not become law for another year. It would become worse. because these peopleand anyone who has been to Mexico to any extent knows thislook to the United States with eyes of envy and wonderment. and wish to come to the United States because those who are in the United States do so much better than those in Mexico.
