Mr. Speaker. I want to bring to the attention of my colleagues an important report from the National Committee on the Education of Migrant Children. The report discusses the findings of a national survey conducted by the committee concerning the needs of migrant children. I believe that it is essential for all of us to read this report as it shows a shocking lack of concern for the approximately 150.000 migrant children in our Nation. I have introduced a number of bills to alleviate the distressing condition of migratory workers and their children. One of these bills. H.R. 4902. provides for Federal financial assistance to the States for the education of migrant workers. The following report indicates the pressing need for prompt approval by the House of this and other migratory labor bills:
