Mr. Chairman. the point has been made here today that it is an act of mercy on your part to extend this program so that we can take care of the poor Mexican workers. Very frankly this would have a much more convincing effect on me if the people who were putting forth this point of view were not the very same people who were so vociferously last year opposing a child labor law for domestic migrant workers. The point is made that there is an insufficiency of supply of labor. Then I think we ought to do something about that insufficiency of supply.
