Speech #880088545

Del J. Rogers. has long been a leader in ItaloAmerican groups and has always displayed a commonsense approach to the many problems that must arise in a nation made up of all the peoples of the earth. There are agitators among the ItaloAmericans. the same as among other groups. who would tear down the steady growth of the children of the immigrants of Italian origin by agitating for action not in keeping with the historical Judgment of these peoples as a whole. Without distracting from the cause and the case of the American Negro. Del Rogers speaks out forthright for a continuation of the sane. sober. although at times. exasperating program for the complete and final assimilation of al our races and creeds into the promise that is America.
