Session #88 · 1963–65

Speech #880070982

Mr. President. for many years United HIAS Service has been in the forefront of efforts to put a just and reasonable immigration law on our statute books. They have done great things in helping to alert public opinion to the need for immigration reform. and share a major responsibility in generating the broadly based support for an immigration reforin bill. I pay tribute to the fine record ofUnited HIAS. At their annual meeting this year. United HIAS adopted a timely and appropriate resolution on immigration. I ask unanimous consent. Mr. President. that this resolution be made a part of my remarks at this point in the RECORD.
