Government for the financing of another attempt on the part of Cuban exiles to invade Cuba. and thereby at least through the back dooralthough I think most of us agree it would be through the front doorseek to involve the United States of America in war. Mr. Cardona happens to be the reciplent of a privilege. the recipient of the privilege of being a refugee in this country. an exile. entitled. through the sufferance of the United States. to sanctuary in the United States. Several days ago on the floor of the Senate I spoke on the subject of Cuban exile attempts to involve us in war. I shall continue to speak about it. as long as there is a group of Cuban exiles in this country who are violating the privilege that we have granted to them. and until all the necessary steps have been taken to hold them responsible and restrict them to their rights of sanctuary in this country.
