Mr. Speaker. on June 20. 1955. Mr. Manuel E. Kulukundis was naturalized as a U.S. citizen. Yet companies in which this man has substantial interest account for approximately 30 percent of all current free world shipping to Communist Cuba. and the U.S. Government has underwritten his farflung shipping operations in the amount of some $32 million in insured loans. Mr. Speaker. in recent weeks I have uncovered facts which are appalling to me as an American and a Member of Congress. As these facts are revealed. I am sure the American people and the Congress of the United States will be shocked and amazed at the extent to which the privileges of citizenship in this Nation have been violated.
