Ivan Serov who was responsible for the inhuman suppression of the Hungarian Revolution. the perfidious arrest of General Maleter while he was negotiating under flag of truce. the mass deportations of Hungarians which took place after the Soviet occupation. General Serov has been promoted. He is now the head of the Soviet secret police.
