I am equally certain that Arthur Goldberg will also become one of our great Justices and. like Justice Frankfurter. will have a great personal impact upon American jurisprudence. The two men have much in common. Justice Frankfurter was born in Vienna and arrived in this country in steerage when he was 12 years old and unable to speak a word of English. He worked his way through Harvard Law School. Secretary Goldberg was born to parents who had emigrated to this country from Russia. His father died when he was 8 and at the age of 12 he was earning money after school as a delivery boy. Both are brilliant men of great intellectual capacity.
