Certainly they vote now. as do any other citizens. To accept the committees theory. the only way these people could now recover compensation for any losses they may have suffered while they were helping us fight a common enemy. is for these people to renounce their American citizenship. go back to their native country and seek redress through that country. But what about these people who have subsequently become naturalized American citizens because they could not return to their homeland after the war because their native lands were overrun by the Communists? Are we saying these people must submit to Communist rule to seek redress? I am sure this is not what we intend.
