I hope we will get something more than a display of flags. Mr. Speaker. I noticed this morning in the Commerce Business Daily. published by the Department of Commerce. the fact that the Defense Department on May 11. 1962. awarded a contract for 403 tents costing $88.472. On May 15. 1962. and I do not know whether this is by coincidence. but on May 15. the Army declared surplus 10.000 tents and the State Department immediately announced that the $600.000 worth of tents would be shipped to Algeria to shelter refugees. May the Lord help the taxpayers of this country.
