I rise in support of the bill under consideration. one of the sections of which will provide statutory authority for the administration to continue its program of assistance to the Cuban refugees in our country. under the regular congressional authorization and appropriations proceedings. I commend the tireless efforts of the distinguished gentleman from Pennsylvania. FRANcIs WALTER. chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee. who has worked so hard to bring this bill to the floor of the House. There is undoubtedly no other single individual In this country who is as intimately familiar with the many phases of immigration and resettlement of exiles and refugees as Mr. WALTER. This is a very comprehensive and complicated field.
