Mr. Speaker. it is unfortunate that in the debate of the Arab refugee question that just took place in the U.N.. the plight of the refugees was used by Arab nations for propaganda purposes only. I am gratified that our representatives to the U.N. saw through these propaganda efforts. I hope that in the future the United States will not find it necessary to vote against a resolution that was introduced calling for direct negotiations between Israel and the Arab countries. It is a matter of pride to me that the United States supports wholeheartedly the principle of peaceful solutiorm through negotiations of differences among nations.
