The major enactment in the area of immigration and nationality was Public Law 87301. to permit the entry of certain eligible alien orphans. Also of major interest was Public Law 87258. to amend title 28. entitled "Judiciary and Judicial Procedure." of the United States Code to provide for the defense of suits against Federal employees arising out of their operation of motor vehicles in the scope of their employment. and for other purposes. Public Law 87225. to provide for reasonable notice of applications to the United States courts of appeals for interlocutory relief against the orders of certain administrative agencies.
