We in America. and I am happy to say we in the State of Minnesota. have had the privilege of receiving many of these fine people from the Netherlands. They have strengthened our Nation and strengthened our respective communities. They are good people. The Dutch Government. therefore. has wisely developed a positive emigration program. which has the effect of a vigorous technical assistance program for those countries fortunate enough to secure the settlement of these Dutch farming families. While our attention is focused on the current political situation in Brazil. it may be well to point out that there are many positive. constructive and hopeful developments at the grassroots in Brazil which should not be forgotten.
