I am sure the senior Senator from Louisiana and the junior Senator from New Jersey will be alert to make sure the program works. If it does not work. we shall try to improve it. If we cannot improve it. of course. it should not be continued. But we have seen in many States pilot projectsnot full Statewide programs for the education of the children. but pilot projects--which work magnificently. We would like to see this fine experience spread throughout the States. There are 30 or more States in which the migrant workers are a part of the State economy.
