Too often. we take these benefits for granted. Among Americans most keenly aware of these benefits are those who have acquired citizenship by naturalization. One such person is Mr. George Berke. the manager of Dixie Savings Stores. Inc.. of Chattanooga. Tenn.. who spent the first 16 years of his life under czarist rule in Russia before acquiring -American citizenship. On April 26. 1961. Mr. Berke bore witness to the liberty he enjoys as a naturalized American citizen in a talk at naturalization ceremonies in the Federal district court presided over by the Honorable Leslie R.
