I believe we should raise the issue in the United Nations. at every available opportunity. I believe that when the Communists demand that we get out of Berlin. we should ask them to get out of the Baltic countries and the other captive nations of Europe. and we should challenge them to permit the peoples of these countries to choose their own governments in elections under the supervision of the United Nations. In commemorating the martyrs of the mass deportations from the Baltic countries. Mr. President. let us again dedicate ourselves to continue the struggle for the restoration of their lost freedoms.
