Mr. Speaker. in a recent article reprinted in the Washington Post from the New Leader. William Bohn recounts a vivid personal experience with our migrant farm labor problem. He points out a fact which I empha-. sized to the House in May when the extension of Public Law 78 was considered. that there is a basic inconsistency in the fact that imported Mexican farmworkers are guaranteed wages and working conditions which our own farmworkers are not receiving. Mr. Bohn goes on to commend the distinguished Senator from New Jersey for his efforts to effect legislation which would attack many of the serious problems surrounding our present migrant farm labor system. I would like to add my commendation to the work being done by Senator WILLIAMS and his staff. and urge my colleagues to read Mr. Bohns excellent article.
