Throughout my work on the Subcommittee on Migratory Labor. of which I have the honor to be chairman. I have called the attention of the Senate and the public to this kind of concern. wherever I have found it to exist. Only recently. this kind of constructive endeavor was noted in an article which appeared in the New York Times on April 28 entitled. "Migrant Workers Arrive in New Jersey." The article gives an excellent account of the efforts which have been made to improve the living and working conditions of our Puerto Rican migratory workers in Glassboro. N.J. It was with no little interest and pride that I noted the splendid progress which has been made in my home State.
