He believes. and strongly. that the way to real prosperity for agriculture is not the control route. but the avenue of decisions freely made in a free atmosphere without the shackles and chains of a Federal bureaucracy. I have. with pride. traced the history of a great organization whose birth was in Broome County. N.Y. It was a noble idea. It is being well executed. During next November. the New York State Farm Bureau will observe the 50th anniversary year by holding its annual meeting in Binghamton. in Broome County.
