Some say this is the way to raise wages in foreign countries and will eventually make things right. Whom are we kidding? Labor unions are only kidding themselves on this score. We have only 17 million organized in America out of a potential of 50 million or more. We have migrant workers who are working under conditions that are considered a shame In some States and areas. We have millions of Americans working under bad conditions here in America after all our strife. strikes. lockouts. legislation. and a liberal Constitution. How can anyone honestly say we can in the near future raise the standards in other countries to make competition reasonable between import and domestic products.
