Labor unions are not kidding themselves on this score. We have only 17 million organized in America out of a potential of 50 million or more. We have migrant workers who axe working under conditions that are considered a shame in some States and areas. We have millions of conditions here in America after all our strife. strikes. lockouts. legislation. and a. liberal Constitution. how can anyone honestly say we can in the near future raise the standards to make competition reasonable between import and domestic products. I once supported. and still believe. in aiding countries to make them selfsufficient.
