Mr. -Speaker. in the course of extensive studies undertaken by the Committee on the Judiciary in the field of international migration and immigration into the United States we are paying particular attention to the worldwide problem of natural increase of population. A foremost authority on that subject. Prof. Philip M. Hauser. chairman of the department of sociology. University of Chicago. has recently made a comprehensive presentation of the population problem when he addressed the Conference on World Population Emergency Campaign held at Princeton. N.J. I believe that my colleagues in the House will find Professor Hausers presentation worthy of their attention. and I therefore ask unanimous consent to have his remarks inserted In the RECORD at this point.
