I was also struck by her forthright call for the appointment of women to the Presidents Commission on National Goals. I surely support this suggestion. and I urge the President to take action immediately to include on this important Commission a number of representative women leaders. Mrs. Hymes comments on the need to protect public health. to provide hospital and medical assistance for the aged. increase in social security benefits. for a revision of the immigration laws. and her emphasis on the need to move forward in the field of antiJuvenile delinquency. are all squarely in line with my own thinking. Mr. President.
