Whether the Soviet Premier should be welcomed to Cleveland as a guest of this community is a matter that calls for thorough consideration. We are of the belief that he would not be wholeheartedly welcome here. If Mr. Eaton wants to entertain him. that is his personal business. and the responsibility is his. Cleveland is a city with a background of love of liberty and hate for tyranny. Its cosmopolitan population is made up of all kinds of people. including thousands of descendants and kin of Hungarian. Czech. Rumanian. Russian. and Bulgarian patriots and refugees. Among them there is no respect for Mr. Khrushchev or for what he or his rule stand for.
