Speech #860057749

As a member of the Committee on the Judiciary. he has made an exceptionally outstanding record in his criticism of every tendency by either the courts. the Executive. or the Congress to depart from the principles of the Constitution. He has always been sympathetic toward the good people of other countries who sought asylum with us. On the question of protecting this country from harm growing out of the indiscriminate acceptance of basically undesirable immigrants. he has never been found at fault. He has never been found absent from his post of guard when criminal or subversive elements sought entry here. As a champion advocate of the welfare of all of our people. he has never failed us.
