Mr. President. I wish to invite the attention of the Senate to a resolution which was recently adopted by the International Rescue Committee in support of World Refugee Year. which commences in July of this year. In our own country the United States Committee for Refugees has been formed to stimulate efforts here on behalf of World Refugee Year. The distinguished chairman of this committee is Dean Francis Sayre. of the Washington Cathedral. Under his dedicated leadership. I am confident that the committee will perform a most important and beneficial function. May I also take this opportunity to pay special tribute to the President of the International Rescue Committee. the Honorable Angier Biddle Duke.
