We can hope that the Europe of our day will find other great souls like Stefaniks lead and organize and fight in pursuit of the ideals of human liberty and democracy which he held dear. New times brings with them new problems. In Stefaniks day the problem was national independence for particular European groups. Today the problem is how to achieve a unified. independent. and democratic Europe. In such a Europe Stefaniks Czechoslovakia. free of its Coin[DIX May 4 munist masters. could have a worthy place. We could find no better way of honoring the memory of Milan Stefanik than in emulating his dedication and selflessness in advancement of the ideals of freedom which are yet so far from universal fulfillment.
