Mr. Speaker. when I was in the Near East in 1958 I spent several weeks in the Palestine refugee area including the Gaza strip. One of the highlights was the peaceful atmosphere which had developed almost immediately upon the arrival of the United Nations Emergency Force. Bordei depradations stopped and everyone breathed more easily. Having seen at first hand what is done by the mere presence of these soldiers from man3 lands. and under unanimous consent tc extend my remarks.
