Mr. President. I think- that in connection with the present visit of King Hussein to the United States. the initiative which can. be stimulated in respect of the resettlement of the Arab refugeesthus giving us a. head start in connection with the situation which in September will be considered by the United Nationsis very valuable and very important. and not only do I hope very much that this matter will interest the *administration. which will be conferring with the young King and his advisers. but I also hope it will again stimulate in our country an awareness and a discussion of our policy in the MidEast. which still remains the tinderbox of the world and still is in a very serious condition.
