A few years ago at the annual dinner of the Minneapolis Junior Chamber of Commerce to which the young businessmen invite their bosses. the older generation of leading executives. I was reminded how recently so many of us had come to Minnesota. It included all the leaders who participated in the program. The mayor of the city was born in Sweden. The Governor of the State was the son of an immigrant from Sweden. The man who responded for the bosses. was the son of an immigrant from Norway. The president of the junior chamber of commerce was born in Greece. The program chairman was born in England.
