That the Treasury investigate the uses to which taxfree contributions of American citizens are put when sent to Israel. to see whether they tend to exacerbate Middle Eastern turmoil rather than relieve unavoidable distress to the end that the taxfree status may be Justified or withdrawn. and be it Resolved. That the United States use its good offices to gain recognition in a substantial way of the rights of the Arab refugees who were dispossessed of their lands. Mr. President.
