Mr. Speaker. I notice the gentleman from New York . chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary. and the gentleman from Pennsylvania . chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization. on the floor. They are both able gentlemen and fair men with a regard for American freedom. I herewith formally request the chairman of the Judiciary Committee and the Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization to make an immediate and full investigation of this situation. Let us determine for the record who it was that issued this order for a kidnaping. Let us determine if this is standard operating procedure of the Immigration Service. I am sure that the Congress of the United States will want to know these things and that the people of the country will want such practices terminated now.
