Ten years ago when the Jews in Palestine proclaimed to the world the birth of the new State of Israel in their ancient homeland. they took a big step forward in laying the foundation of a new home for refugee Jews. The history of the last 10 years has proved the inevitability and wisdom of that step. And the Israelis have amply demonstrated to the world their capability of making the new state a new factor. a powerful factor. in the Middle East.
