Speech #850154550

Mr. President. a number of northern Minnesota residents have called my attention to the need for the establishment of a port of entry to be located at Caribou. Minn. There is indeed a great need for additional port facilities between ourselves and our great neighbors to the north. along the Minnesota border. and I have asked the Customs and Immigration Services to give careful consideration to this proposal. Mr. President. I ask unanimous consent to have printed at this point in the RECORD. and appropriately referred. the petition signed by more than 200 northern Minnesota residents. urging the construction of an additional facility at Caribou.
