To have 1 son ascend to such legal heights. to have another. the late Anthony Aponick. graduate from the United States Naval Academy and then become an outstanding engineer until death cut short a promising career. and to rear 5 daughters who survive constituted an impressive record of achievement. sufficient to justify any sacrifices she may have made during a long and fruitful life. Mrs. Aponick belonged to the category of oldfashioned mothers whose principal interest was home and children. Apart from the love and practical assistance she was able to give to her offspring. there was also the inspiration of her example as a wife and mother. Mrs. Aponick was one of a distinguished company of hardy immigrants who have contributed so much to our community and country through their children as well as directly through their own efforts.
