Mr. Speaker. I am pleased to include at this time a resolution on the projection of our current immigration policy adopted and passed by the Worcester chapter of Unico National on July 25. 1957. The resolution follows: Whereas Worcester chapter. Unico National. has been a leader in advocating legislation to relieve the immigration of worthy people to our shores. and Whereas H. R. 7904. sponsored by Congressman KENNETH KEATING. Republican. of New York. and S. 2222. sponsored by Senator JOHN KENNEDY. Democrat. of Massachusetts. are humane in scope and in the right direction of obtaining justice. democratic and fair dealing in objectires which seeks the reunion of families. wives. and minor children of persons admitted to our country under the provisions of the Refugee Act of 1953 and the admission of the "pipeline" casesthose persons whose application visas were screened. processed. and verified under the RRA but were cut off when the full quota was reached: Now. therefore. be it Resolved. That Worcester chapter. Unico National. at its regular board meeting held in Worcester.
