Inc.. for the work he did With his group of entertainers. in bringing new. hope and happiness to thousands of hospitalized veteransfor devoting his time to youth and Scout activities to combat juvenile delinquency. and currently for lending his talents to help the Hungarian refugees. One of his greatest thrills. as he says. was to appear on the TV show We the People for Trumans Committee on Religion and Welfare of the Armed Forces. to appeal to the communities to take up where USO left off after it became financially pinched. His latest appearance was at the Chelsea Naval Hospital.
