Mr. Speaker. when I was home over the Easter recess. a number of persons and committees called upon me regarding the necessity of amending and repealing the inequities of the present immigration law. The Judiciary Committee of the House is now considering this legislation and I hope we can get favorable action in a short time so that the changes in this law can become effective before adjournment in August.
