May I say to the gentleman that I sincerely hope some action will be taken which will protect the people of his State from unemployment because of importation. I think we are beginning to find out. if the gentleman will yield for this observation. that throughout the country we are finding more and more industries are being affected by imports. In my own State. Ohio. the great pottery industry has suffered. Many of the potteries have been closed. most of them are now in distress because of the lack of a quota system. The clay pipe industry is now beginning to suffer. I think we have it throughout the country.
