I am not advised as to that particular phase of the problem. I do know that refugees from Hungary have made valuable contributions to the .security of this country in the past 20 years. I should like to cite. as I did. not long ago in the Senate. the names of four men from Budapest. The first is Dr. John von Neumann. a refugee from Budapest. who unfortunately passed away recently. He was the worlds greatest mathematician. according to a distinguished American scientist. His contributions to the security of our country are so numerous that it would require a long time to enumerate them. The next refugee is Dr. Edward Teller. the father of the hydrogen bomb. who. probably more than any other individual. made it possible to win that terrible race with the Soviet Union. The next one I should like to mention is Dr.
