I know him to be a good American. and I have confidence in him. I know he went through many hardships to escape the brutalism of Hitlerism. and he deserves much credit for having become a successful businessman in this country. Since he came to the United States. he has done many worthwhile things in civic enterprises. and recently is offering jobs and opportunities for almost 1.000 Hungarian refugees. We welcome into this country men of ability who want to be good citizens and who can contribute to the economy and welfare of our country. The second point is in connection with the purchase of stock of Fairbanks.
