This to me is so much tommyrot. The evidence before the Internal Security Subcommittee. of which I am a member. does not justify such a conclusion. The truth of the matter is. and I add to it Chairman WALTERS statement as further proof. that we have opened the very doors of our country to thousands of Communists by our dogood policy toward the Hungarians. Many Communists have recently entered our country as refugees. Let me ask the simple question. What would have happened to the United States in 1776 if the patriots of the American colonies had fled to Canada or Mexico?
