Mr. Speaker. Albert Johnson was one of the active and influential Members when I came to Congress 32 years ago. His colorful appearance and the vigor of his speech was most impressive. Johnson was a man of great ability. He was an expert on legislation treating with immigration and education. He had written a good part of the Immigration Act of the previous year and was forced to exert every effort to prevent it being changed. He was a man of fine character and of the highest integrity. beloved by all. His services to his country was of tremendous value.
