Mr. Chairman. this amendment merely would provide the same security regulations and provisions for migrants coming from the Far East as are now in effect for migrants coming from Europe. This provides that there shall be a fullscale security investigation and a security clearance based thereon before any of the American taxpayers funds can be used to transport them to some thirtyodd countries of the free world from Red China. The people whom we are transporting by the use of American taxpayers funds are coming from Red China. most of them in possession of valid passports issued by the U.
