Speech #840204545

Mr. President. during his service as chairman of the Judiciary Committeeon which I had the I privilege to serve with himI became - very appreciative of the many fine qualiy ties of our esteemed Senator HARLEY MARTIN KILGORE. We were also brought a closely together through his chairmane ship of the Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization. of which I was a also a member. C The long experience that HARLEY KILe GORE possessed in the study and practice e of law. and his years as a jurist. both I tempered his wisdom and added merit to his decisions. He was ever one who wished to know all of the facts available. and from these to move wisely to a positive judgment.
