The Senate proceeded to consider the bill for the relief of Hsu JenYuan. also known as Joseph JenYuan Hsu. which had been reported from the Committee on the Judiciary with an amendment. to strike out all after the enacting clause and insert: That. notwithstanding any other provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Hsu JenYuan. also known as Joseph JenYuan Hsu. shall be held to be classifiable as a nonimmigrant student under section 101 (a) (15) (F) of the act and permitted to remain in the United States for a period of not more than 3 years. or until such time as he obtains his doctors degree. whichever occurs sooner.
