Mr. Speaker. the Refugee Relief Act represents a wise and generous act of the American people in line with our finest traditions. As the provisions of the act approach termination. however. it becomes clear that not only its extension but also a more flexible readjustment of quotas within it are urgently needed if the original intent of Congress in enacting this fine legislation is to be served. As evidence of the great public support for these proposals. under unanimous consent.
