Not until after World War II. through the work of the Committee on UnAmerican Activities. was Eisler exposed. tried. and convicted for a portion of his treachery against America. While on $25.000 bail. pending appeal from his conviction. he jumped bail. fled to Poland. and again assumed his position of Communist leadership.
